Oscillating sift
Based on the physical characteristics of the materials, oscillating sifts are designed to separate these materials. The oscillating sifts combine the actions of vibratory and sift to give better separating action.

Textured-based Trough
The basic idea of separating is using the differences in the coefficients of fraction for bodies moving on a vibrating feeder.
Figure 1 shows the basis of the separating actions: object with small coefficient of fraction (small µ) tends to move towards to the bottom (gravity force is greater than the drag force provided by the surface); or object with large coefficient of fraction tends to stay on the surface. However, when combine with vibrating action, the objects with different fraction coefficient will be separated.
